India (June 2015 - June 2016)

In India I conducted a market analysis with the aim to identify types and amounts of cargo that could be shifted from the land-based transport modes - truck and train - onto ships expected to ply the Ganges River - India's National Waterway No. 1 - between the docks of Haldia and the holy city of Varanasi.

During the same period, my team conducted various analyses covering all technical, operational, institutional and environmental aspects for the Inland Waterway Authority of India (IWAI).
