China (July 2014 - Dec. 2014)  

This project with the Hunan Water Transportation Construction and Investment Group (HWTCIG) investigated all aspects of expanding the inland-waterway transport (IWT) on the Huang Xingjiang River between Hengyang and Jin-Weizhou. 

While I conducted a market analysis and elaborated a port development plan, my team untertook the tasks of investigating investment strategies, port-city interfaces, environmental and institutional aspects such as private-sector participation.
